FPL Gurus Gameweek 2: Worth the kneejerk?
A strong gameweek one for me leaves me with 75 points. Salah, the captain, paid off in the final minutes while Haaland and Reijnders shone in the Manchester City victory over Wolves.
For many, the 50/50 decisions didn’t go their way, particularly with blanks for the likes of Palmer, Watkins, Joao Pedro, and Bowen left many picking up few points with their mid to high-priced assets.
The keys are to remember that FPL is a 38-game-week game, and there will be 37 gameweeks to improve on a poor gameweek 1.
My gameweek 1 review.
Availability News
Kai Haverz has picked up a knee injury, and Arsenal have made a quick transition to bring in Eberechi Eze. Both will likely be unavailable for GW2.
Alexander Isak and Yoanne Wissa are both in transfer disputes and haven’t been training with their respective sides.
Ryan Gravenberch and Emi Martinez return from suspensions picked up at the end of last season, but Ezri Konsa will serve a suspension following his red card against Newcastle.
Jeremie Frimpong has picked up a hamstring injury in GW1 and will be out until the international break.

Gameweek 2 Team Reveal
Based on my team from last week, which finished on 75 points, I am dropping my two Spurs players to the bench and bringing in Dorgu and Esteve.
Captaincy: Haaland and rolling a transfer.
