FPL GW12... Wildcard Active
A really poor GW11 for me means that it was definitely time to hit my wildcard for the first half of the season. Stay until the end to see my wildcard team and still have my free hit to come before gameweek 19.
Stats of the week
Norway qualified for their first World Cup since 1998, winning all 8 of their qualification matches. Erling Haaland scored 16 goals in the eight-match campaign.
Nico O’Reilly has been the second-highest scoring since gameweek four (only behind Gabriel, having started seven of the eight games in that time.
Injury/Suspension News
Gabriel hobbled off during Brazil’s 2-0 victory over Senegal. There has been no further update, but it appeared like he had a groin injury.
Antoine Semenyo picked up an injury on international duty and was not spotted in training on Thursday.
AFCON Transfer Reminder
Remember that you should be planning ahead for the start of AFCON when you will get a reset to 5 Free Transfers. Make sure you have no transfers left, or they will be wasted.
A slower week…
Due to a car accident, I was unable to put as much into this version of the newsletter as possible. Back to normal next week.
