FPL GW9: Is Haaland the automatic captain or not?
3 red arrows in a row for me following gameweek 8. A small one it may be, but still a frustrating one with 19 points on the bench. That was thanks to Burnley’s brilliant clean sheet as Dubravka and Esteve brought the points to my bench.
As a Kroupi Jr owner in GW1, I was so pleased to see him score two for Bournemouth, but I was a bit gutted that I didn’t manage to pick up the points.
Injury News and updates:
Isak (Groin) was substituted at halftime by Arne Slot after he felt tight following the first 45 minutes. Isak suffered from several groin injuries at his time at Newcastle.
Frimpong (Hamstring) pulled up in the first half of Liverpool’s 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Nico Gonzalez came off in Man City’s win over Villareal and was replaced by Matteo Kovacic.

My GW9 Team Selection
7 home fixtures for me this week and my biggest risk is giving the armband to Saka instead of Haaland. Aston Villa have won five games in a row and look as if they will give Man City their first big challenge in recent weeks. I’m hoping Joao Pedro and Gyokeres can get back to scoring ways in the Premier League, and after a strong performance last week, I’m hoping Burnley will produce another clean sheet.
