FPL Stick or Twist Week: Gameweek 5 Preivew
Gameweek 5 has come around, and thanks to a last-minute Salah penalty as my triple captain, I am very, very pleased. With 81 points, I am currently sitting at 538k and haven’t used a transfer yet.
Many managers are getting frustrated at this point but there have been very few consistent performers. My advice to begin this edition are, don’t react too soon and don’t make decisions based on one week.
Injury News
Yoanne Wissa missed the win over Wolves, and it has been confirmed that he will miss the next 4-5 weeks with an injury he sustained on international duty.
Viktor Gyokeres sustained a head knock and a laceration. He played on, so he should be fine.
Mason Mount’s injury spell looks set to be longer than first expected, and there is currently “no timeline”.
John Stones has returned to training but will not feature in the Champions League.
Youri Tielemans (calf) is expected to be out for 1-2 weeks, but it is not as bad as had been first feared.
Adam Wharton is eyeing up a possible return against West Ham.
Fun Stats
Vicario has only conceded one goal in four games and has picked up a save point in each game so far this season.
Liverpool have scored in 38 consecutive Premier League games, breaking the club record and meaning they have gone a full year scoring in each Premier League game.
Aston Villa have failed to score in the opening four games of a league season for the first time in their history.

Plans for Gameweek 5
Earlier in the week I was set to sell Salah and now I am convinced on captaining him. I am rolling again which will set me up with five free transfers next week for some massive transformation. Wirtz has one more week to impress or he will be part of the removal plans.
The other big call here is starting double Burnley in defence. They have been unlucky over the last few weeks with late penalties going against them in back to back weeks. Nottingham Forest under Ange Postecoglu have looked poor and a clean sheet would be massive for my rank.
