Wildcard week for many: FPL Gameweek 6 preview
Another strong week in the books in gameweek 5 of 62 points, and I am up to 185k rank. This is without having used a transfer all season, and I have now built up five free transfers.
Injury and Suspension News
Hugo Ekitike picked up a one-match suspension after he took off his shirt to celebrate the winner in the Carabao Cup. This resulted in a second yellow card for him.
Cole Palmer will be out for at least six weeks due to a new tear in his groin.
Noni Madueke will be out for at least a few weeks with a knee injury.
Reinildo has picked up a three-game suspension because of his red card for ‘violent conduct’ in gameweek 5.
Geovani Leoni has suffered an ACL injury. This has no real impact on FPL but will put extra strain on the Liverpool defenders in the coming weeks.
Interesting stats for the week
Pep Guardiola has played Burnley 18 times since becoming Manchester City manager. He has won 17 of those games and drawn one.
Crystal Palace have now gone 17 games unbeaten in all competitions. Their last competitive defeat came in April, and their opponents, Liverpool, are the only other unbeaten team in the league this season.
Aston Villa scored their first goal of the season against Sunderland, Newcastle and Wolves are the next lowest with three.

I am making my first transfers of the season, and I am making three in one go. The Liverpool boys are making a move out, and the extra funds have allowed me to add Calafiori as a premium defender option.
